I want to use odbc_connect() to connect my 10.1B Progress OE database. I am getting "Can't open lib '/progress/dlc/odbc/lib/pgoe1022.sl'" error. The database server and apache are all on the same server HP-UX. Anybody had this working?

To index the amduus collection I am currently adding a bunch of pages, and I am assigning "Scott Auge" as the author of those pages. That is because he deserves the credits and also because he gets the rights to edit those pages when he wants to.

Hi all,

I am in the process of releasing Proparse under the terms of the Eclipse Public License. Think of it as a wee gift from Judy and I.

I am removing the license protection from the binary installer package on my web site, and I am loading Proparse's source up into a new SVN repository here on the Hive. I am creating a Project and a Group here on the Hive as well for issue tracking, etc.

It's probably going to be a bit sloppy at first, sorry about that. I'm pretty busy with a couple of customers at the moment.

I have a problem with printing using _osprint. I does print but the first 9 or 10 characters
of the output is not printed on the paper. What I mean is, if you try to see, those characters
are printed off the paper. Here's how i called it..

Can anyone help me with the error 4517?

You cannot change the READ-ONLY attribute for while that browser has focus. (4517)

A browser's READ-ONLY attribute cannot be changed while that browser has focus.

I made a work around for, applying the entry to other objects in the window and changing the value of its read-only attribute. But this technique is I think not good programming style.

Using Jurjen's posts on this site I have managed to trap when a window is moved by monitoring WM_MOVE. I would also like to trap when the move is complete by monitoring WM_MOVING.

How do I go about monitoring two messages in my ABL?

Hello everybody,

I am new at OE hives and have a question about killing persistent procedures, where I only know the programm.p name.
Is there a code sample, where I am able to say, that I want to kill the persistent procedure xy.p like within the procedure object viewer?
In development, I often modify persistens procedures and everytime before I can test the modification, I have to kill the persistent procedure manually.

Ok, I’m going to try my best to explain this weird problem. It’s in the saveAs Function while using Redemption.

I’m Using the outlook object model.

My code is in progress 4gl (but is pretty similar to vb)

I’m saving each appointment to a txt file then parsing out the info I need from that file.

Reasoning (Progress v9.1 doesn’t support the date-time data type)

Also I’m using the latest version of redemption.

I’m using a static date because that’s a date I have a reoccurring appt.

On 64bit windows the key for proparse should be imported under

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Joanju\Proparse31]

Instead of

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Joanju\Proparse31]
