How to install Prolint?
Hi all!
I'm new to Prolint and I wanted to install it for testing. Installation instructions for Prolint state: Before you can run Prolint you will need to install Proparse from www.joanju.com. In here: http://www.joanju.com/proparse/index.php there are two options proparse.java and proparse.net. Which one should I download? I was guessing that .net-version was the correct one because later the instructions talk about some .dll file. But with that I couldn't run Prolint because it was giving error messages which were relating to missing dll file. It seems like instructions are out of sync or then I just can't do the right thing.
I'm really confused with this installation. Could someone please help me and provide installing instructions that even I could follow? :)

Installing old Proparse library
Hi temeq,
I've got the same trouble with Prolint : AFAIK, it doesn't yet work with the .net or java library of Proparse, but with the ABL version. Unfortunately, this version is no longer available on the site joanju.com.
But... it's still on the wayback machine :)

I've installed a more recent version : http://www.joanju.com/proparse/proparse_3.1c02.exe
And it works. It works very well indeed, great tool and great library :)
After installing proparse, you can install prolint as specified in the docs.
