We need a free job posting forum, please !

I think, it would be great for all of us if we had a free job posting forum.

It would provide a great service for customers and contractors, and it would certainly help get this place noticed.

I strongly believe it should be free.

If John, Jurjen or Dr. Tom see this I'd love to hear you opinion. Tanx.

Re: We need a free job posting forum, please !

Hi Alon,

Please see:
http://www.oehive.org/work

"Welcome to the Work group. You are welcome to post jobs and resumes, and discuss work as it relates to the Progress world."

As with all 'Groups' on the Hive, you have to subscribe to post anything - the subscription link is in the bottom of the right column of that /work (or any Group) page.

Also note that when subscribing to any Group, you have the option of enabling the forum <-> email gateway. (Post and receive forum messages by email and/or the web interface.)

We ask that when posting jobs, resumes, or related, that you please only select 'Work' as the Audience (it won't be available unless you are subscribed to that Group).

When you click 'Create Content' on the Hive, an audience must be selected for the page you create, and that means you can post any sort of new page to the Work group:

blog entry
book page
forum topic
image
page
poll
project
story
userlink entry
issue

(Note 'forum topic' in there.) You can find the Work discussion forum on the http://www.oehive.org/forum page.

The Organic Groups module for Drupal might seem a little complicated, but it does allow for some pretty cool stuff and a lot of organizational flexibility.

Enjoy. :)
Regards,
John
