Database Performance

On a request from a client to decrease the numbers of extents on a database we restructured the database with larger extents using a new structured file. But now the client is complaining about database performance. Is really possible?

Query-Browse - Highlight first line in Browse

I have done this many a times in character where the first record in a Browse is highlighted using the syntax 'apply "entry" to browse abc-browse' or in the wait-for statement where 'focus' is given to the browse. But I can't seem to get it working in Windows??

Any suggestion or advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

SMTP mail produces corrupted attachments

We use smtpmail.p in our application for sending mails with pdf attachments. Unfortunatly in some situations the recipiënt receives an corrupted file, when he’s trying to open it. We tested on several smtp servers and some servers corrupted the attachment, for example xs4all.nl. Has anyone experienced the same problem or could anyone help me with a solution?

Thnx,
