February 2007 meeting

At the PUG meeting tonight I got volunteered (thanks Sam) for creating a forum for BC PUG members. Well, here it is. Enjoy!

Thanks Rick Kuzyk for the excellent (as always) and entertaining presentation. It's always great to get a visit from you here. Thanks also to Brent from Oppenheimer for your presentation. It's very helpful to see how people are using the new 10.1 syntax features.

Be sure to remember that you can edit your subscription to this group (if you are signed in, see "my subscription" in the menu, bottom right) if you want to receive email notifications of new content or forum posts. You can also post something to the forum online here, or by emailing bcpug (at) groups.oehive.org using your account email address.

One of the ideas that we bounced around for our meetings is a half hour of moderated round-table question and answer. I hope that we can give that idea a try at the next meeting. We heard some good examples of problems that some people are tackling, that other local people have already worked through. It was suggested that May is a likely candidate for the next dinner.

Thanks Santiago for allowing yourself to be volunteered as PUG president. :)
